Learning through the Arts

Prof. Robert Paulino discussing the art of Filipino painter Carlos "Botong" Francisco

The Paghilom Arts Camp and Festival featured an educational component comprised of workshops and discussions with topics that range from arts and culture to theology. Facilitators included seasoned academics and highly acclaimed art practitioners. These activities were spread throughout the duration of the festival from February 7- March 2, 2016.

The series of lectures during the art camp were categorized under three main themes: Art in Theology, Art in Education and Local Art. The camp also offered art workshops that gave participants a hands-on experience on art production.

In the Pamana group exhibit in Museo De La Salle, artists discussed their works and their art making process.
